Winder Joinery recommends using Sikkens Filter 7 Plus to protect your gates from UV rays.

This "top coat" is designed to be used along side "Sikkens Cetol HLS" which is applied as the base coat.

Protects against UV rays.

Sikkens recommends using 10ml per square foot and three coats for best protection.
For example a 3' x 3' gate will need at least 540ml of Sikkens
(3' x 3' = 9' per side. 9' x 2 sides = 18'. 18' x 3 coats = 54'. 54' x 10ml = 540ml)
